I am Nusrath. I am a postgraduate in Biomedical Genetics with a specialization in Genetic Counselling from VIT University, Vellore. I started my career as an intern Genetic counsellor at the National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (NIMHANS), Bengaluru. Later I worked as a GC for a genome intelligence company which provides individualized theragnostic tests for cancer.

I am a strong proponent of using technology to facilitate patient counselling via video conferencing solutions that connect patients to leading genetic counselors. Especially in India where access to genetic counselor is limited. Thus an internet platform can help bridge this gap.
